We provide a variety of classes at Palmetto Training, Inc. Below is a list of a few of the types of classes.
Refresher Classes
Our refresher courses are designed for individuals who hold a current CDL but may not have driven for some time. It can be hard for such individuals to obtain employment due to this gap in their driving career. With our refresher courses we have found it is best for the applicant to talk to the company they are seeking employment with and see what requirements that particular employer has like driving hours, range time, or vehicle inspection. Different companies have different requirements for refresher courses so it is always best for the applicant to find out the specific requirements of their prospective employer prior to enrollment.
Previous CDL Holders
If you previously had a CDL and are exempt from eldt let us help you reobtain your CDL. This course can vary due to the specific needs of each applicant, and the length of time they have been away from the wheel. To enroll in this course an applicant must hold an unrestricted CDL permit of the applicable class. Call for more information.
ELDT Certified Applicants
This course is for applicants who were unable to obtain a CDL after attending a different CDL training provider, but are ELDT certified. For this course an applicant must hold an unrestricted cdl permit of the applicable class and completed the entry level driver training requirements for theory and behind the wheel.
